Xanthopesia. A visual condition where things appear yellow.
I got Xanthopesia today. Not a good one for getting me away from literal readings of my words.
I decided to make a simple software tool in Processing that would apply a yellow tint to a chosen image, to demonstrate the effects of Xanthopesia. This tool loads a user-selected image and gives it a yellowish tint.
Each piece will be themed around a word that will not repeat, chosen at random from http://randomword.com.
To provide context, the featured word must be present in the piece, but no other words are allowed.
Any time-based media (like motion and sound) must be created procedurally.
The only colors allowed are black, white, and gray.
