About Nathan

Nathan Koch is a web developer living in Chicago, Illinois. His specialties are JavaScript, HTML5, and, more recently, Ruby on Rails. He currently works at Arc Worldwide (a Leo Burnett Affiliate) as a Senior Web Engineer, focusing on front-end development.

Always looking to learn new technologies, Nathan has spent a lot of his free time in the last three years learning PHP, followed by Python/Django, and now Rails. Along the way he's picked up some experience with Processing and iOS development as well.

Beyond web development, Nathan has at various times performed as a DJ, VJ, and electronic musician. These days his hobbies involve tinkering with a live visuals rig in OpenFrameworks and practicing his skills as an amateur mixologist. He makes a great Old-Fashioned.
